The Islamic Centre of Western Australia (WA) is a not-for-profit organisation which has been in operation since 1994.
They have been serving the spiritual and social needs of the local Muslim community in various areas such as Islamic education, social support, community engagement and event organisation.
Over the past few years, the Islamic Centre of Western Australia has seen an increase in demand for Islamic services and have established a second location (Perth Ummah Centre) in order to meet the need of the community.
NZF’s vision is for Islam to flourish in society as a source of prosperity and harmony for all. To be able to achieve this, we need our community to be one that is confident, self-sustainable and pious.
Through our partnership with the Islamic Centre of Western Australia, we ensure that children and youth from NZF's various Community Programs have the opportunity to attend and complete classes in Quranic studies through the programs and services at the Islamic Centre of Western Australia. Additionally, we will also be collaborating with their other community programs to help beneficiaries from the Silver Lining (Single Parents) and Healing Forward (Domestic Violence) programs.
We are also working with the centre on an exciting initiative to combine the services of their MuslimAbility program with our Breaking Barriers (Muslims with Disabilities) program.
If you are an individual, company, business, service or organisation, you can become a Program Partner by financially supporting and funding our programs, either through the means of Zakat or Sadaqah.
You can also become a Service Partner by providing essential services such as Quran classes, counselling, mentoring, tutoring etc. for our programs.
The partnered services and community support provided by Islamic Centre of Western Australia assists NZF in making these programs a success.
